Announcing the 2021-22 Theme

ShandaUncategorized

Congratulations to Mozella Perry Ademiluyi, the winner of the “What’s Our Theme?” contest.

Each year we have a theme for our program year and Annual Institute, which we use as a basis to select our keynote speakers, inspire our presenters, and connect with our registrants.

Normally our themes are determined by the members of our Executive Board, but this year we turned to our registrants for this prestigious honor.

We received sixteen entries, some with multiple theme options. Of the sixteen entries, “Reset Your Compass,” submitted by Mozella, was the one the TOC Board believed embodied the spirit of the 2021-2022 Program Year and Annual Institute. It was very encouraging to see that many of the entries focused on the change we are experiencing and the need to adjust and adapt to the future. With so many wonderful submissions, we were able to weave several of the concepts from those entries under this idea with the final theme being “Reset Your Compass: Chart Your New Future.”

We are excited to see “Reset Your Compass” come to life during this upcoming year. It offers so many opportunities for professional and personal development! We have already aligned the compass points to tracks (North-Networking; South-Skills; West-Wellness; and East-E-Learning) as well as the ECQs. Stay tuned to learn more about how these tracks will be interwoven throughout the year and how you can get involved!

In addition, Mozella has agreed to join the Annual Institute Team and serve as the Special Events coordinator!

Join us in congratulating Mozzella at the TOC Awards Ceremony on September 14, 2021. We look forward to a fantastic program year with you!
