And the #TOCAI24 Theme is…

LanieraTOCAI 2024, Uncategorized

Thank you to all who got creative and submitted a theme for our 2024 Annual Institute Theme Contest. There were many great options – it was so difficult to choose that we combined 2 winning ideas! We are happy to announce the winners of the theme contest for the AI, April 28 – May 1, 2024, are Wayne Ross and Cynthia Hawkins

Wayne Ross spoke of the “brotherly Love” of Philadelphia.

“… the idea of Philly being the City of Brotherly Love. Humanness is more important than where we come from or what we look like.  We will champion the idea that none of us are as powerful alone. By tapping into to the strengths of one another, we can impact lasting change and forge new paths, partnerships and possibilities in the work that we do and those we do it for.”

Cynthia mentioned using the L.O.V.E letters as an acronym.

“As a city, they have triumphed over adversity and rallied people together to a common goal. Before the Office of Personnel Management formed the Executive Core Qualifications framework, these memorable change agents demonstrated a true “L.O.V.E” for the city using the competencies of leveraging diversity, oral communication, vision, and entrepreneurship.”

To reach a wide audience and help form tracks for the TOC AI 2024, we developed this concept further and came up with the tracks to support the 2024 Institute supporting our theme “Feeling the Love in the City of Brotherly Love” love of learners, learning and leading with tracks in the following areas:

  • Leadership Development
  • Optimization of Learning and Development Roles
  • Value (Measures of Success)
  • Engaging Technologies

Now it’s your opportunity to get involved! The call for proposals is now open, through December 6. See our proposal page for more information on submitting a proposal to present at the Annual Institute and selecting one of the L.O.V.E. themes.  https://trainingofficers.org/call-for-proposals/
