Presenter Bio
James is a vice president for Wholesale and International Enterprise Information Security at Wells Fargo. He is responsible for information security risk for the GE Capital Integration and facilitating strategic business objectives. He also serves on the BDPA, Cybersecurity Advisory Board.
Prior to joining Wells Fargo, James is a retired in the U.S. Army with 22 years of experience in information technology, operations and cybersecurity for the Department of Defense. He has worked at multiple levels of government including Joint, Operations, and Special Operation organizations.
Previously, James served at U.S. Army Cyber Command as the chief of Cyber Mission Forces and in the Advanced Concepts and Technology Directorate. He was a Secretary of the Army, senior IT fellow at Microsoft Corporation; the deputy CIO for Joint Task Force Civil Support; and the chief information management officer for Special Operations Command Central. He also served in the U.S. Marine Corps.
