Since 2020, Dr. Christie has served as Vice President for Educational Innovation and Inclusivity at Alchemy, a leading ed-tech firm that empowers educators to combine the science and magic of teaching effectively. His career in higher education spans over three decades, including 25 years in the California State University system, where he played a pivotal role in student equity and success initiatives at
both campus and system levels. His experience includes over 15 years of teaching in Educational Technology, Teacher Education, UDL/Accessibility, and K-12 partnerships. Brett has also held leadership positions in several state and federal projects focused on professional development for inclusive teaching methods, accessibility/UDL, assessment, technology integration, and online effectiveness. More recently, he has turned to GenerativeAI and has the potential to create effective and personalized learning experiences. Brett’s expertise has been recognized through presentations and consultations across North America, South America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.
