Coach Connections coming to 2020 AI!
Olympic athletes have focused determination, rigorous training schedules, and dedicated support systems. The connection to all those elements is a Coach.

Just as Olympic coaches play a central role in enhancing the performance of athletes and teams, Federal coaches can provide you with guidance and support to be the best version of yourself.
This year the Training Officers Consortium is partnering with trained internal federal coaches to bring coaching to you at the Annual Institute. We are adding a track dedicated to Coach Connections where you will be able to learn more about the coaching process and sign up for one-on-one coaching sessions.
What is Coaching?
The International Coaching Federation (ICF) defines coaching as the thought-provoking, creative partnership process that inspires clients to maximize their personal and professional potential.
In coaching, you are the expert because nobody knows you better than you. A coach’s primary attention is on amplifying your knowledge of yourself to help clear interference and gain clarity so you can take action towards your goals. They provide a supportive and non-judgmental environment to inquire, challenge and stimulate new ways of thinking often leading to new actions.
How will it work?
During the Annual Institute, we will have coaches available during each session period. You will have an opportunity to sign up to meet with a coach for 30 minute or 60 minute discussions.
More details on how to sign up to get coached at the Annual Institute will be available in the April newsletter so stay tuned!
